PPWR declaration for packaging
ErgoFloor has prepared a PPWR declaration describing the company’s principles for packaging rubber products and related materials.
What is PPWR?
PPWR stands for Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the EU regulation on packaging and packaging waste. Its aims include reducing the amount of packaging, increasing reuse and recycling, and supporting a more circular use of resources.
ErgoFloor’s packaging solutions
ErgoFloor’s packaging solutions are designed to use as little packaging material as possible while protecting products during transport and storage. Wherever possible, packaging should be reusable or recyclable, and the materials should be capable of being separated and correctly sorted after use.
Packaging materials covered by the declaration
The packaging used when delivering rubber products includes wooden pallets and protective boards, cardboard corner protectors, strapping, stretch film, labels and tape. All packaging materials covered by the declaration are recyclable, and several types of packaging can also be used repeatedly.
Reusable transport packaging
Where possible, pallets are used as reusable transport packaging within established return or reuse systems. These packaging solutions help reduce resource consumption and support circular principles throughout the supply chain.
