ErgoFloor marks 25 years of growth, exports and green transition
TØRRING – It began with an idea to make use of leftover materials from the rubber industry. Today, 25 years later, ErgoFloor A/S is among the world's leading manufacturers of specialist flooring made from recycled rubber. The company has just moved to a larger factory in Vietnam to meet growing international demand.
“We started small, believing that recycling and functionality could go hand in hand. Today, we supply flooring solutions for everything from fitness centres and schools to major industrial businesses, both in Denmark and internationally,” says Uffe Mølgaard, founder and owner of ErgoFloor.
The company has been based in Tørring from the outset and has invested heavily in both product development and technology over the years.
A Danish industrial success story
Although ErgoFloor now operates globally, its roots remain firmly in central Jutland. Several employees have been with the company for many years, and it continues to work closely with local tradespeople, advisers and institutions.
“Although our manufacturing takes place abroad, Tørring is still where we develop our ideas and drive the business forward. Our network and foundations are in Denmark – that is an important part of our identity,” says co-owner Michael Moric.
Reception in Tørring
The 25th anniversary will be marked with a reception at the company's premises in Tørring on 5 September. Customers and business partners will be invited to look back on the journey and hear more about the company's ambitions for the future.
“We look forward to celebrating the day with those who have supported us over the years, and to celebrating our growing company,” concludes Uffe Mølgaard.
